As the EFFT workshop in 2011 was a great succes, James Furrow and Berry Aarnoudse will provide another 2-day training in Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
EFFT is a model of intervention that helps build strong and cohesive families from the inside out. The EFFT approach uses new insights from attachment theory to understand distressed and satisfying relationships within a family. EFFT creates new bonds in distressed families through finding deeper emotional engagement, sharing attachment needs, and working through relational injuries. This approach harnesses the incredible power of the family to reach a new level of vulnerability together and build upon the resources of more secure bonds. EFFT provides therapists with a practical approach to engaging families at this emotional level.
Last year, James Furrow,Gail Palmer, George Faller and Lisa Palmer-Olsen, all international EFT trainers, worked together on the development of EFFT, we will use their program to offer you a fresh boost of EFFT.
